In Swansea this week is a story about a group of knitters who have shown their kindness and warm hearts as they knit blankets for the homeless people of Swansea. Also on Knitting news The Big Issue are organising an event this year called the Big Knitathon. This encourages both new and experienced knitters to knit six inch squares and send it to the big issue to be made into one big quilt. They are also hoping to set a world record of the most people knitting at the same time, lets hope they can.
